Information we collect

The typing test runs in your browser. We do not store your typed text or scores on our servers. If you email us, we receive the details you send.

Accounts and saved scores

Creating an account is free. Your name, email, password (stored only as a salted hash) and your scores are saved in your own browser using local storage. They are not sent to our servers, so clearing your browser data removes them and they do not sync between devices.

Theme preference

Your light or dark theme choice is also remembered in local storage.

Cookies and advertising

We use third-party advertising partners, including Adsterra, which may use cookies to show ads and measure performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party links

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites we link to.
